Workflows

Verify a local run

From the source repository, run a simulated prompt and inspect its records:

cargo run --locked -p tokendance-cli -- run --json "hello"
cargo run --locked -p tokendance-cli -- sessions list --json
cargo run --locked -p tokendance-cli -- transcript search "hello" --json

The CLI stores records relative to the process working directory. If you invoke the built binary from another repository, use that same directory for session inspection.

Inspect one session

Copy an identifier from sessions list, then run:

tokendance sessions show SESSION_ID --events

This shows local metadata and event summaries. tokendance --continue opens the latest local session identifier; complete previous-context restoration remains a separate capability to verify.

Develop a coding workflow

Real coding tasks require connecting a model adapter to the runtime, configuring its credentials and transport, and handling tool permissions. The preview CLI does not perform those tasks merely because a prompt asks it to read or edit code.

Use the provider guide and core source when developing this integration. Run your project’s own checks after reviewing any changes produced by an integration.
